Their long-term goal is to make Prince Edward Island energy self-sufficient in the areas of heating, transportation, shipping, industry and aviation. In this initial MW-sized project, REFUEL is working with AKA Energy Systems Inc. (AKA), a leading Canadian Power Systems Integrator on incorporating Enapter’s #AEM Electrolysers to produce green hydrogen from renewable energy sources such as solar and wind. The delivery of the megawatt systems is planned for late 2024, and we're thrilled to announce that our colleagues, Michael Söhner and Julian Molz, have recently visited AKA's facilities and established certified partnerships with both AKA and REFUEL. North American market certification according to ETL standards is also well underway, meaning our AEM Electrolyser EL 4.0 and Dryer 2.1 are now available to order. While AKA and REFUEL's focus remains on megawatt-sized systems, they also offer our single-core AEM Electrolysers as part of their E1 system. Additionally, our Canadian certified partners will provide extensive service packages, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
